This one, is in fact, not my poem - a cool friend of mine called Bronwyn wrote this and gave it to me - I reckoned it was pretty awesome, and so I figured I'd put it up here - so yeah...(hello Bron mate - doesn't it look pretty? teehee) - anyways, thus do I present to you:

Arise into peace

			I sing to my Lord,
			Kneeling before Him
			In adoration and humility -
I lift my face to his.

Grief and shame weigh me down,
			Despair is close behind
And fear my constant companion -
			Yet I have hope.

I know if I can only look into His eyes
I will be free, safe, pure -
			If I close my eyes
			I will fall.

And in this moment before my Lord
			I have peace.
			His arms around me,
			His light shines down.

			For, now,
			I am wholly his;

			I sing to my Lord.
