Oh my God You're faithful!

		Father, you are faithful!
		I look at my track-record:
		So many failings,
		So many repeated lessons
		That I'm even yet to learn;
		So many times
		That I've ignored Your call
		To fulfil a selfish whim;
		So many people I've not loved
		Because I cannot muster the strength -
		Never remembering 
		That I'm to love them with Your love,
		Not mine;
		So many times
		That I could've spent with You
		But instead
		Have been distracted
		By something so eternally meaningless
		But seemingly so much more useful
			and interesting;
		So many times
		That I've held sin
		Close to my heart
		And tried to satisfy myself with it
		Even at the same time
		As worshiping Your name;
		So many times
		That my integrity has been nonexistent
		And Your Way not given a good image
		To those who have seen me 
		During all those days;

		So many people
		That I've neglected to love,
		To learn from,
		To teach;
		And so many times
		That I've not loved You
		and have neglected Your teachings.
		Lord, the list is long,
		Sins more than just speckle the path
			as I look back -
		But You are still with me,
		You are still leading me,
		You are still keeping your promises
		And You will not forsake my soul -
		Even though many times, through action,
		I have done the equivalent of forsaking You.
		Lord, Your love is pure and amazing!
		Your faithfulness astounding
		And Your patience perfect -
		Thankyou for my life!
