Message of unforgiveness

		Running the line 
		Between being respected 
		For your single-mindedness for God
		And being rejected for it -
		Offending those who lead different lives.

		Your closed-minded ways
		Anger even me,
		Practising Christian -
		Do not believe that being a pastor
		Or one devoted in work to only God
		Are the only ways to be a 'True Christian' -
		And although I know you do not truly believe that -
		It comes across to me that way
		For you continue to miss 
		Major points -
		Points that complete the argument
		To other ways of living for God.

		What practical application
		Does your preaching give me?
		You continue to retch out words
		That yell 'Hades' -
		The old Message of Damnation -
		You fail to tell me
		Where God will meet me -
		I wait for Him in my life now,
		Searching and waiting,
		Yet it does not seem 
		That He would love me enough to find me
		Or to draw me nearer to Him
		From what you're telling me.

		Like the nagging one, who, 
		When speaking to you, 
		Does not motivate you into action, 
		But instead, 
		Tempts you the other way 
		Into an action to dispute them and their way -
		Thus it is that your preaching rejects me
		And tempts me away from God
		Rather than towards.

		Be careful in your assumptions,
		Forgiving in your temperament
		And open-minded in your generalisations
		And I will not be as offended and rejected
		By your methods of the message.
