Reciprocate

		Splintering light
		Gracing the horizons;
		The sunset's pastels
		Painting a picture -
		In it,
		I see God's love.

		A lightening world -
		The promise of a new day;
		The din slowly increases
		As the masses awaken;
		Artificial lights, no longer needed,
		Cease for the day;
		God's love is here.

		Dim, dark, gloom...
		Clouds smothering,
		Greyness;
		In it,
		I still see God's love.

		Darkness,
		Blackness,
		Colourless;
		Tiny balls of man-light
		and a large globe of incandescence
		The only sources for visibility;
		God's love is still present.

		Tragedies -
		A life lost,
		A family broken,
		A friend sick;
		Throughout it
		I still see God's love.

		He turns us upside down,
		Tells us to go
		Where we are afraid to;
		Leads us down paths
		That we would never dream of travelling;
		Places in our journey
		People to pass on His love;

		He twists our lives around
		All in an effort for us to hear him clearer:
		Both shouting
		and ever whispering
		With heart-breaking earnestness,
		It's your choice,
		But please,
		Love me back...
