Within or without you?

		Here I am:
		Sitting in someone else's room
		By myself -
		A comfortable bedroom,
		Walls covered in memories,
		Photos of others;
		I open up a conversation -
		A chat with God;
		I realise how odd the scene is -
		It is not in classic raiment,
		This is no typical church,
		Not an obviously spiritual place,
		But it is still home to God.
		Joy hits me
		And a stupid grin spreads across my face -
		God is here,
		God is everywhere -
		Wherever I am,
		So is he,
		No matter how unlikely the place may be -
		He is in my heart -
		Within me,
		But he is also
		Without me.
		There is no halting God
		From entering a situation -
		You can be blessed in any situation:
		It is those times
		When sin is rampant
		And God blesses me in the middle of it all
		That send me crashing to my knees -
		In heart if not in body also;
		It is also these times
		That show God's presence
		In all situations.

This one I wrote in a friend's room when they were showering - I opened up a conversation with God as I had some spare time and it felt somewhat odd. Thus I began these thoughtings, and thus came about this poem. And just for the record, I did grin stupidly.
