Self Esteem for Kids

A service with special consideration for single parents

This service is to assist the parent/carer who seeks new ways to foster their child's sense of self esteem and create a positive outlook on life. The child's self esteem is the passport for success – or failure – that can reach into their ripe adult years. Responsibility for one's actions and respect for others are some of the qualities that are connected with the way children regard themselves.

A personal note. We live at a time where suspicion and fraud are rampant. 'As the service has been advertised for free, many will ask: ³What is the catch?' To clarify: there is none. I have been working with children since the early 1980s with depression and low self image as one of my concerns. Although due to advamcing age I have retired from active work I still plan to offer my experience for a few more years and without charge to those who may benefit from it.

Unlike parents, and their children, (now mostly adults themselves) who have known my work for up to tens of years, you may wonder about the safety of the service. Anyone who wishes to read references and other documents collected over the years is welcome to do so. Also, my CV can be read at Peter's resume.

While this service is offered free, some conditions apply. These are similar to another project outlined in this web site, please click here. To further safeguard against any legal snags, all dealings with the child will only be carried out with the consent and in the presence of the parent or the for the child responsible adult.

Please phone for any questions, comments and/or book for an appointment (02) 6248 9036, or contact by email.
